Poster Session Information
Poster Instructions
Poster sessions are scheduled Monday, Tuesday and
Thursday afternoon, from 14:00 to 16:30.
Coffee and biscuits will be served during the poster
sessions from 16:00 to 16:30. Please refer to
the conference programme for the topics presented
at each day.
Since poster sessions are a focal point of the conference, and
with the objective of making the sessions as attractive, successful
and rewarding as possible, authors of posters are strongly encouraged
to take particular care in their preparation.
Each poster is displayed on one board:
The usable area on the poster board is 124cm (roughly 48") wide
and 98cm (roughly 38") high.
An ISO A0 sized (118.9cm x 84.1cm) poster will fit landscape
on the board, an ANSI E (44" x 34") as well.
Velcro dots and push pins will be available for mounting posters.
Posters can be mounted anytime during the morning. Please remove your poster after the poster session. After each poster session all leftover posters will be removed.
Poster Rules
Authors are reminded of the strict enforcement of the requirements for acceptance for publication as stated in the "Call for Papers":
- Since contributions are not accepted for publication only, any paper accepted for presentation, which is not presented at the conference, will be excluded from the proceedings. Furthermore, the Scientific Program Committee reserves the right to refuse papers for publication which have not been properly presented in the poster sessions.
- Manuscripts of contributions to the proceedings (or large printouts of them) are not considered as posters and papers presented in this way will not be accepted for publication.
There will be a designated "poster police" to verify that you have displayed a poster and have manned the poster during the poster session. Papers for posters that are not displayed for the full poster session will not be published in the proceedings.
